Realising Identity

Supernatural identity- personal and corporate improvement

image Understanding our new Identity

So the old has passed away, in fact it is gone, because Jesus (as declared by John the Baptist) actually takes away sin so the old existence has vanished and its completely dead anyway from His side– the enemy though uses the old dead actions as the ‘kindling wood’ to stir up deviance's from the beautiful reality of our totally new identity and our Holy calling which is in fact infinitely more blessed as its eternal! we are indeed a new creation

We can of course remember if we choose but that's free will and His blessing/grace of choice which is always present in a perfect relationship. Isaiah and Jeremiah as old testament prophets both declare that God remembers sin no more its forgotten and they lived some 104 years apart. In addition 2 Corinthians 5:17 verse says ‘Behold’ or ‘Look’ (because something that was is no more and something else has taken its place and its eternal and for some taking Paul's discourse in Romans (the best rhetoric ever written) where he describes Abraham's faith as ‘he saw things that aren't as though they were!’ is the best way to approach our revelation in 2 Corinthians 5:17. This has happened its taken place already (its not one of the convenient 'not yets' its an 'already').

So we have to deal it but not in the head it needs to be applied to the spirit to the inside to the central ID to the inner person. We may and its quite likely that we see don’t see, when for example one studies a work of art sometimes we don't see the whole message, we may see spacial linearity, analysis of genre, intensity of colour and subject matter and the perspective but not spot the unwitting testimony of the artist.

Back to our verse and our understanding of it perhaps we haven't had any supernatural identity encouragement, or revelation or our teachers and church leaders simply haven't experienced these things so are unable to enlighten. Its not impossible that Religion which speaks in “not yet, maybe later” language because it can easily control that narrative has delayed the comprehension or even diverted the potential for revelation. It is however what The Holy Spirit is saying today to us and breathing His new creation identity internally in our own personal discoveries (in the full light) of Holy Scripture.
