It is the fire of suffering that brings forth the gold of godliness. And it is a great truth, wonderful as it is undeniable, that all our happiness - temporal, spiritual, and eternal - consists in one thing; namely, in resigning ourselves to God, and in leaving ourselves with Him, to do with us and in us just as He pleases, He who has a pure heart will never cease to pray; and he who will be constant in prayer, shall know what it is to have a pure heart.
Jeanne Marie Bouvier de la Motte Guyon Scripture says speak to one another in Psalms, Hymns, Spiritual Songs, edify one another, build up the Body in Love can we be so bold as to ask when was the last time you were in a Christian fellowship anywhere worldwide and experienced this? There doesn't seem to be much in the way interactive edification which is almost impossible when you spend an hour looking at the back of someone's head in the row in front...

The Beatitudes are such glorious Kingdom of Heaven teaching by Jesus in the Gospels and would have been heard by everyone at the time and they would have been reiterated multiple times! This is where seeds start growing into belief.

Summing up in Matt. 5:45 Jesus says ..that you may be sons of your Father in heaven - and concludes by saying you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect (this internal dynamic within our new inner life is the new creation - its not supposed to be some future life).

That the earth is a battleground see Daniel Chapter 10 The church and the mind are battlegrounds (nobody much likes the warfare dynamic fighting against persons 'without bodies' but it must be done and certainly by those who have these ministries).

Proverbs 4:23 Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.
