Descending Angels
“Jacob noticed angels ascending first up the ladder that stretched into Heaven (because they are already here) and they descend delivering and receiving from within both realms.”
Never right any church member off! nor yourself! Because with God, as Jesus said, all things are possible
Philip activated by an Angel started his first Church position as a servant waiter to Greek widows (Nb he is not the apostle Philip but one of the seven chosen with Stephen!) Because at the time everyone (except the apostles) left Jerusalem it was then that he initiated 2 national revivals (Samaria and Ethiopia)! by preaching Christ (Nb not by asking other church members if they want to join the lcommunity lunch rota he could have done he'd had plenty of experience...
In Samaria he opened many hearts and working with Jesus to complete His 'fire lighting' in the heart of that quite wonderful woman at the well in Samaria. Extraordinarily Jesus personally reveals to her, a woman in a shunned religious society who was not a Jew who had been married 5 times! and was outcast from her village that God is Spirit and worship must be in spirit and truth. What a spectacular revelation of Jesus to someone that we might have been considered not our first choice!
To finish up The Spirit of The Lord transported Philip to Azotus and he carried on ministering until he came to Caesarea where he seems to have settled and is blessed with 4 prophetic daughters (what a delight to any fathers heart and no wonder it was also a resting and renewal place for the apostles)His ministry started with a church election but its then really fired up with Angelic activation but His was beautiful life and his first church ministry was as a waiter..
Have The Faith Of God
Seeing disbelief is excruciating it should be frustrating for us but it saddens the Father to see what we see.
If we look briefly at Mark 11
where Jesus said and nearly all translations use 'Have Faith in God However the original Aramaic saysHave the Faith of God
.ἔχετε πίστιν θεοῦ
Which can be translated either:
faith in God (objective genitive)
faith of God (subjective genitive)
Greek allows both.Aramaic is not ambiguous — it is clearly “faith OF God.”
Aramaic uses the construct form d‑Alāhā, which means:
“of God” not “in God” not “toward God”This is why the Aramaic Peshitta tradition consistently reads:
“Have the faith of God.”
What Jesus is actually teaching In context in the fig tree miracle,
Jesus is telling the disciples:operate with God’s own kind of faith speak with God’s authority expect God level results (“this mountain…”) Where Jesus says it: → Mark 11:22 in the Aramaic Peshitta → Its Literal:
“Let there be in you
- the faith of God.”
Why English differs:
Greek grammar allows “faith in God,”
but Aramaic does not.Aramaic is explicit: faith OF God..”
